Wave of Innovation is a fintech innovation network focused on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), digital assets, blockchain, and institutional finance. We produce conferences and programs that connect institutions, builders, and communities across the UK and APAC.
We have delivered two flagship events to date. XRP Gold Coast 2024 at Royal Pines Resort welcomed 300 attendees and 20 sponsors, with Ripple as a sponsor and John Deaton headlining. XRP Sydney 2026 at Crown Towers Sydney hosted 400 attendees and 11 sponsors, with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, President Monica Long, and Emeritus CTO David Schwartz on stage. Across both events we have welcomed 700 attendees from the global XRP community.
We focus on the UK and APAC regions, connecting our established APAC institutional network directly to London and the wider ecosystem, alongside global financial hubs.
The XRP Ledger is a decentralized, public, open-source blockchain used for payments, tokenization, and institutional digital-asset applications. Our events and programs bring together the institutions, builders, and communities working across the XRPL ecosystem.
Our events convene banks, fintech teams, developers, regulators, and the wider XRP community. Past audiences have travelled in from the UK, US, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Ripple has sponsored our past events, and Ripple leadership including Brad Garlinghouse, Monica Long, and David Schwartz have appeared on stage at XRP Sydney 2026. The partnership built in Sydney has carried forward into our upcoming programming.
